“Decolonizing the Right to Be”
One of the most ingrained narratives of colonialism and modernization is that your value is based on your production. This system is built to make the individual fail and never be enough. It leads to burnout, depression and malaise. We must remember and the path of remembrance is one walked by many First Nation people not as a “technique to conquer” but as a way of beingness. Join me as we walk back across the bridge to be presented with a completely different way of coming home to yourself.”

Our world and culture are shifting right now and we need to question how our standard business practices are perpetuating systems that no longer serve us.
Our businesses can be a tool for positive social change if we lean in, do the work, and commit to being an equity-centered leader.

What does it mean to scale in integrity?
We hear the term scale tossed around a lot in business. Traditionally, to scale means serving more clients while spending less time, money, and other resources to earn more.
The old-world bro-business way to scale looks like this:
1. Raise rates constantly and price out large groups of people who do not have access to capital.
2. Cram more and more people into a group program with no thought to the impact or result.
3. Give no thought to the unique needs of diverse clients, create formulaic or cookie-cutter programs to serve larger numbers of people.
To scale with integrity looks like this:
1. Build a social impact business model that creates access, equity, and inclusion.
2. Identify your sweet spot niche who can afford your high ticket and pay some revenue forward into sponsorships for those who can't
3. Do not compromise results for numbers. Build a diverse team and pay them well to help you serve more people.
4. Bring in partners, other coaches, and additional resources to create BETTER results as your programs grow
